8. A Microplane
With all of the grilling, I love to experiment with marinades.
And nothing kicks up a marinade like some fresh citrus zest. So if I use my juicer, odds are I’m pulling out the microplane first.

And an extra trick here is to zest the entire fruit even if you’re not using all of it at once.
The extra gets portioned into teaspoon servings into an ice cube tray and then topped off with water. Then whenever I need a kick of zest, I pull as many cubes out of the freezer as I need.
