Five Mistakes You're Making When Choosing A College

It is certainly not enough to look at the ratings of a college for a specific major and base your choice solely on this.

There are many other factors that you need to take into account in order to make full evaluation and the right choice in the end.

The faculty-to-student ratio is extremely important and so is the average class size. You would want to get as much personal attention as possible. You should definitely find out more about the faculty members and their experience and accomplishments.

Facilities are important and so are the initiatives and events organized by the academic institution.

You should check how successful the graduates of the college are to get an idea of what you can expect in the future. What is the average GPA for the graduating class? How many of them find a job right after graduation? How many of them go to graduate school?
