The faculty-to-student ratio is extremely important and so is the average class size. You would want to get as much personal attention as possible. You should definitely find out more about the faculty members and their experience and accomplishments.
Facilities are important and so are the initiatives and events organized by the academic institution.
You should check how successful the graduates of the college are to get an idea of what you can expect in the future. What is the average GPA for the graduating class? How many of them find a job right after graduation? How many of them go to graduate school?
