Western Kentucky University and Big Red
Big Red has been the mascot of Western Kentucky University since 1979, but no one knows what it is exactly. It is simply big and red. I personally like him better than many of the mascots that are easy to identify.
When you look at it closely, you will actually discover that there is something quite charming about it. You cannot help but smile back at the creature’s huge smile and friendly demeanor.
